Jennifer O'Leary

Jennifer O’Leary is an award-winning investigative reporter for Spotlight, BBC Northern Ireland’s flagship current affairs programme. In that role, she has reported on a diverse range of investigations including a criminal conspiracy to export horses unfit for human consumption into the food chain, money laundering by the powerful mafia group, the 'Ndrangheta, the secret intelligence war between the state and the IRA, as well as the Republican movement's handling of sexual abuse allegations against a suspected IRA member.

Jennifer’s first book The Padre: The True Story of the Irish Priest who armed the IRA with Gaddafi’s Money was published by Merrion Press in 2023.
