Hannah Sunderland

Hannah Sunderland was born and raised in Birmingham, where she still lives with her partner and their three thoroughly spoilt cats. She completed her BA (Hons) in Fine Art at the University of Derby and, after graduating, started her own business, carving out a unique career creating props for crime scene reconstructions.

A lifelong book lover, Hannah inherited her passion for storytelling and an insatiable reading habit from her father and that love of words led her to writing fiction of her own — heartwarming, thought-provoking stories with a twist.

Her debut novel, Very Nearly Normal, was published by Avon, HarperCollins in 2020, followed by At First Sight in 2021. Her books have since been translated into four languages, earning Hannah an international readership drawn to her tender, emotionally rich storytelling.
