Jacob Jarvis

Jacob Jarvis is a journalist, presenter and political commentator. He currently hosts the American Friction podcast, which covers US politics from a British perspective, in an easy to understand and – when the news allows – fun manner.

He also works on the Oh God, What Now? and The Bunker podcasts, presenting and managing the production teams behind both shows.

He began his career working for tabloid newspapers, moved on to a local newspaper and went on to work for the Standard covering politics and then Newsweek, where he wrote features, cover stories and helped run the newsdesk.

He grew up in Lincoln and now, predictably, lives in East London.
