Ros Taylor

Ros talks and writes about politics. She was one of the original hosts of the hit Remainiacs podcast, which later became Oh God, What Now?, and continues to host and present it regularly. Her immersive podcast about postwar British history and politics, Jam Tomorrow, is in its fourth series. The New Statesman described it as ‘fascinating’.

She writes often for the New European and other national publications and spent 14 years as a journalist at the Guardian, including editing its comment, law and education websites, reporting on politics, and writing leader columns. She has also worked for BBC London and the London School of Economics, editing sites about Brexit and COVID, and has a sideline in editing and writing for NGOs.

She is the author of The Future of Trust (Melville House, 2024), a series of essays about what might happen in a world where institutional trust has broken down. It has been described as ‘frankly terrifying’.

Ros grew up in Shropshire and has lived in London most of her life. She has an MPhil in obscure aspects of French literature and still hopes to become completely fluent in the language.
